The third week of the 2024 extended NASCAR road trip went through Las Vegas where Kyle Larson (1849) won the weekend’s feature. Tyler Reddick (1856) and Ryan Blaney (1991) finished second and third to Larson in the 2024 Pennzoil 400 Presented By Jiffy Lube. The continued top finishes by Blaney moved him back to the number one spot on the Top 10 NASCAR Cup Series Driver Ratings.
In Saturday’s 2024 The LiUNA! Race, John Hunter Nemechek (1731) captured his 10th Xfinity Series victory. Nemechek’s ELO rating increased to 1731 which ties him for twentieth on the Active Xfinity Drivers List behind the likes of Cole Custer (1856) and Chandler Smith (1895) who respectively finished second and third to John Hunter Nemechek in Las Vegas.
Friday’s night action produced another milestone winner’s circle celebration. Rajah Carruth (1937) won his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Carruth’s consistent form moved him fourth in the Active Craftsman Drivers List behind top-rated Corey Heim (2003). Heim vaulted to one ELO rating point ahead of Kyle Busch (2002).
Cup and Xfinity Series drivers move south to Phoenix for next weekend races while Truck Series drivers get a week off before returning in Bristol.
